Convention Center to host performing, visual arts college fair

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will be holding its Performing and Visual Arts College Fair at the San Diego Convention Center on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The fair is intended for college-bound students interested in music, dance, theater, visual arts, graphic design and other related disciplines. The event is free and open to the public.

Students have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with admission representatives from colleges, universities, conservatories, studios, festivals and other educational institutions with specialized programs in the arts.

Information about financial aid, portfolio days, and audition and entrance requirements will also be available.

More than 20,000 students attend NACAC’s Performing and Visual Arts College Fairs annually with 21 fairs throughout the year. This fall’s locations also include New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C. and Nashville.

Students are encouraged to visit gotomypvafair.com prior to the fair to register.
