Freedom's Flame 9/11 Exhibition

Terrorism, Homeland Security and the New Role of the Private Sector
This is a special breakfast presentation by General Barry R. McCaffrey, a retired four star General with the U.S. Army and former director of the White House Office of Drug Control Policy. During his military career, McCaffrey served 13 years, including four combat tours. During the Gulf War, he commanded the 24th Infantry Division during an attack into Iraq. He served as the assistant to General Colin Powell and as the JCS advisor to the secretary of state and to the U.S. ambassador to the United Natons. He is currently a professor of national security studies at West Point, and a military and terrorism analyst for NBC News. The breakfst is co-sponsored by UCSD CONNECT, AeA, Biocom, San Diego DEFCOMM and the San Diego Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Council.
