The year is 1968, and it's been a thrilling week rehearsing at the NBC studios for the live telecast of the "Pete and Keely Reunion Special." They're America's Singin' Sweethearts and no matter what you may have read in the tabloids, Pete 'n Keely are getting along just fine. This Off-Broadway hit is packed with classic favorites like "Besame Mucho," "Secret Love" and "Fever" as well as great new songs. Featuring San Diego favorites Eileen Bowman and Phil Johnson, "Pete 'n Keely" is a warmhearted and hilarious return to a special time in America's history.

What Judges Expect from Experts

Judge William Howatt will present an interactive discussion regarding what an attorney would consider in preparing for a hearing at which an expert is testifying. He will provide the requirements for a witness to qualify as an expert according to California Evidence Code §720 and the rules for expert testimony per §801. Questions an expert can expect counsel to ask in order to qualify are offered. Issues of privilege as they may affect the testimony of an expert and the doctrine of relevancy and the use of hearsay evidence by an expert are described.
