Chasing the Song

– La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for its Page To Stage workshop production of Chasing the Song, a jubilant new musical by the team behind the Tony Award-winning musical Memphis, featuring book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, music and lyrics by David Bryan and directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley. Metaloci: Points of Transformation

"Metaloci: Points of Transformation" is an exhibition curated by the San Diego Mesa College Museum Studies Program at the Mission Valley Library. Featured artists: Jenny Armer, Teresa Chen, Scott Genglebach, Daniele Fratarcangeli, Joshua Krause, Miguel Milló, Reinhart Selvik, and Charity Vincent. “Metaloci: Points of Transformation” is a group exhibit that investigates the elusive nature of transformation through the use of glass, metal, paint, photography, found-objects, and more. Each of the artists in the show has his own unique methodology for creating art, but the one common denominator among them all is an ability to transform ideas into tangible images and objects that embody a process of transformation.

Elevator Constructor Apprentice

Applications must be filled out in perso durign the following sessions: Tuesday thru Friday: 12:30 to 5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30am to 3:30pm. A photo I.D. must be oresented during the application process. Applicants must be 18 years of age to apply, possess and provide an original copy of a H.S. Diploma. or H.S. Transcript or GED, pass an entrance exam and sit for an interview. Note: The exam will be administered at a later date.
