A 14,275-square-foot light manufacturing building at 655 Venture St. in Escondido, 92029, has been sold for $1.79 million. Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial announced the $5.5-million sale of Heritage at Canyon Pointe Condominiums in Escondido. Echo Pacific Construction Inc. has completed a $9 million renovation project at Sundance Elementary School, located in Poway Unified School District. Several construction projects are scheduled to move forward throughout the county this week. The city of Escondido has a deeply-rooted history, starting with a change of ownership in 1800s. As the area was a haven for gold miners in 1860, Escondido became a Mexican land grant, titled Recon del Diablo or “corner of the devil.” It was later bought by the Escondido Land and Town Co. in 1886.
