Lake Wohlford and Lake Dixon provide trout and bass fishing as well as hiking and picnic opportunities.  Valley View Casino offers opportunities for gaming and dining.  The casino, run by the San Pasqual Band, offers slots and tables. There are numerous riding trails for equestrians.

It's almost that time again where we'll see an array (and influx) of mustaches around San Diego to raise awareness for men's health. To kick off the month, Harrah's Resort Southern California is partnering with The Movember Foundation and hosting a "Shave the Date" event November 1 at the resort (starting at 12 p.m.), which will include an on-stage shaving of beards and mustaches as well as a MoStacks Celebrity No Limit, Hold 'Em Poker Tournament to benefit the Movember Foundation. Continue the celebration with a MoParty in The Events Center at 7 p.m. with a comedy set by Jay Mohr, live entertainment, a silent auction and more.
