Visitor Information

About 15 miles north of downtown San Diego is Sorrento Valley, a neighborhood best known for its concentration of high-tech and biotech companies and its proximity to the natural beauty of the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve.

The neighborhood was originally zoned for industrial use, but several single-family and condominium housing projects mean some 5,000 residents call Sorrento Valley home. Since Sorrento Valley is considered a neighborhood, rather than a recognized community planning area, it falls under the domain of three different San Diego community-planning groups: Mira Mesa, Torrey Pines and University.

Although selling is the only revenue generating activity in a business - everything else is an expense - little time and money are spent developing and refining our sales skills. Why? Because many of us feel that selling is kind of distasteful and much of the training in the marketplace tends to train the humanity right out of us, focusing on elevator pitches instead of connecting, and closing early and often instead of listening. In fact, increasing revenue can be a transferable, sustainable process when done with elegance and humanity. Learn how to listen, network and sell like a human.
