Building San Diego for more than 20 years

As one of the premier general contracting firms on the West Coast, Rudolph and Sletten Inc. has built some of the most influential and iconic structures in California. Over the past 50-plus years, they have remained a pacesetter, through not only the quality and craftsmanship evident in their work, but through the dedication and expertise of their people. Rudolph and Sletten’s expert professionals manage each job comprehensively, from site selection and preconstruction services through project completion. With a focus on integrity, honesty and open communication, Rudolph and Sletten prides itself with maintaining authentic relationships with their clients and partners.

With a local presence in San Diego for more than 20 years, Rudolph and Sletten has worked hard to be a part of San Diego’s ascension as one of California’s most prominent and progressive cities. From the San Diego Zoo to research facilities like the world-renowned Salk Institute, Rudolph and Sletten has continued to grow with the city of San Diego, project by project.

Since its beginning, Rudolph and Sletten has been focused on client relationships and improved service through technology and innovation. As an early adopter of collaborative and lean construction methods building on our long-term philosophy, the company has embraced new ways to improve collaboration and increase productivity. With the use of 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Last Planner, along with the company’s 130 LEED-accredited employees, Rudolph and Sletten is continuing its tradition of bringing added value to every project.

Rudolph and Sletten is a proud partner on numerous projects currently under way, including the new AOC San Diego Courthouse, UC San Diego’s Altman’s Clinical and Translational Research Institute, and San Diego Community College District’s Science Building. And as of this month, we are pleased to announce the opening of Sharp Rees-Stealy Wellness Center in downtown San Diego.

Rudolph and Sletten’s building expertise includes virtually all types of projects with an emphasis on those markets where their technical expertise and quality excel: biotech and pharmaceutical, health care and technology. Other areas of expertise include commercial office and corporate campuses, education, gaming and hospitality, justice, government, sports and entertainment, and industrial facilities. Performing everything from preconstruction, design-build and construction management to general contracting services, the goal is the same: to elevate the city of San Diego to surpass expectations for the next 20 years and beyond.

Our San Diego office is here to make your next project a success. With additional offices in Irvine, Redwood City and Roseville, Calif., we have the resources to answer your project’s unique challenges. Let’s build San Diego.
