Construction starts for new Fixtures Living in UTC

Construction has started on a new Fixtures Living showroom and retail storefront at Westfield UTC.

The store will be 23,747 square feet and the retailer’s first two-story location. The company sells premium lifestyle products for the home.

The showroom will have hands-on and “test drive” areas, including a fully functioning kitchen and bath, and outdoor vignettes so customers can choose products based on how they want to live, rather than just what they want to buy.

The Fixtures Living at Westfield UTC will staff lifestyle advisers, personal wellness directors and full-time culinary personnel.

The Westfield UTC location will be the flagship location for Fixtures Living, and the company will move from its current location, off Miramar Road, to UTC when the store opens this fall.

Westfield is investing $11 million in this project.

The arrival of Fixtures Living represents the final phase of Westfield UTC’s $180 million renovation and expansion, which has transformed the entire shopping center into more of a retail and resort destination.
