On the Agenda: Architecture discussion, contracting tips, golf tourney highlight week

Among the topics this week by business and educational groups are the San Diego Central Library, contracting opportunities for small businesses and smart cities.

The San Diego Architectural Foundation is launching a forum about the value of design in the built environment. The first program is “Context Volume I: Celebrating Civic Courage” to honor the planners and designers of the San Diego Central Library and will feature an on-stage conversation with Dr. Irwin Jacobs, architect Rob Wellington Quigley, FAIA, and moderator Darlene Shiley.
