Oceanside, firm to agree on roadway design

With the short holiday week, only a few municipalities have agenda items.

The Chula Vista City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to approve a $900,000 design-build agreement with Systems Integrated Inc. for upgrade and replacement of the supervisory control and data acquisition system that monitors pumps at various city facilities.

In Oceanside on Wednesday, the City Council is expected to approve a professional service agreement with Tony Walker Engineering Inc. to update the city's master drainage plan.

The City Council is also expected to approve a contract with RBF Consulting to design roadway improvements on Rancho Del Oro and Ocean Ranch Boulevard.

The San Diego City Council has adjourned its May 26-27 and June 2-3 meetings. The next regularly scheduled meetings of the City Council are 2 p.m. June 9 and 10 a.m. June 10.
