There is little to talk about this week on the construction front, as most municipalities do not have any development news.
On Tuesday, Port of San Diego commissioners are expected to award an $886,918 contract to Fordyce Construction Inc. for the Crosby Street Pier Modernization Project.
On Thursday, the San Diego Planning Commission is slated to hear eight items, including requests for permits for building a 71,584-square-foot nursing facility with 32 units for assisted living and 32 units for memory care patients. The proposed project also will have courtyards with walking paths and special amenities for outdoor activities. The facility would be located in the Black Mountain Ranch community.
The Coronado Planning Commission has canceled its scheduled Tuesday meeting, while the San Marcos City Council will convene on Tuesday, but its agenda was not available at the time of publication.
