Benchmark gets contract from HOA

Benchmark Landscape, a Southern California commercial maintenance and landscape installation company, has been awarded a new maintenance service contract from the Rosedale Homeowners Association in Oceanside, Calif.

“We appreciate that the Rosedale Homeowners Association recognized Benchmarkís professionalism and innovative approach to landscape services,” said John Mohns, president of Benchmark Landscape. “Our expertise and insight will improve the value, beauty and functionality of their community’s landscape.” 

As part of the contract, Benchmark Landscape will maintain all the common areas of the Rosedale site. This includes landscape and irrigation, along with providing annual landscape color changes.

Framing topped out on Mesa College math building

The framing has topped out at the Mesa College Mathematics and Natural Sciences Building located near the campus entry on 7250 Mesa College Drive in San Diego.

The new four-story, 207,000 square foot community college facility is anticipated to be complete in August 2013.

The project is the largest one of 17 projects under construction as part of the $1.55 billion Propositions S & N construction bond program.

McCarthy Building Companies is the construction manager and Architects | Delawie Wilkes Rodrigues Barker is the project architect.

Consultants for the project include Hope Engineering, structural engineer; Earl Walls Associates, lab planning designer; exp., mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineer; RBF Consulting, civil engineer; and Wimmer Yamada Caughey, landscape architect.
