BB&T-John Burnham Insurance Services has donated $15,000 to The Warrior Foundation in lieu of giving holiday gifts to its clients, according to a release. This is the fourth year that BB&T-John Burnham Insurance Services has supported The Warrior Foundation, a nonprofit 501 (c) 3.
The funds from the donation were used to help reunite local soldiers with their families over the holidays, according to Jim Bayne, area president of BB&T-John Burnham Insurance Services.
“This is our way of giving back to the men and women who sacrifice so much to keep us free and safe," Bayne said. "We have received wonderful feedback from many of our clients who appreciate the fact that rather than send them a gift, BB&T is using the money to help support our men and women in uniform.”
