Kratos wins $7.5M contract

San Diego’s Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has received $7.5 million in orders for integrated microwave assemblies related to U.S. Navy platforms for airborne electronic attack and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

No additional details are being provided due to sensitivities of the customer -- the prime contractor on the projects -- as well as other concerns.

Richard F. Poirier, president of Kratos' electronic products division, described the assemblies as “critical elements of high-performance sensor systems.”
