Cal Western makes Food Bank donation in Galinson's honor

California Western School of Law donated more than 140 pounds of non-perishable food items to the San Diego Food Bank in honor of longtime professor and trustee Murray Galinson, who died unexpectedly Jan. 3.

“Murray’s spirit of community engagement and philanthropy lives on through those of us who continue his work,” said California Western Dean Niels B. Schaumann. “Many lives were touched by Murray’s contributions to the community. We hope these food items offer comfort and support to local families in need.”

Additonally, Galinson’s commitment to the community and to legal education will live on through a new scholarship assisting incoming students who have overcome significant obstacles. For more information, contact Director of Development and Alumni Relations Lori Boyle at lboyle@cwsl.edu.
