First Pactrust Bancorp Inc.: Company announced its board of directors has authorized a quarterly cash interest payment of 47 cents per share on its outstanding Senior Notes, payable Jan. 15 to noteholders of record on Jan. 1.

Illumina Inc.: SEC documents showed Vice President Mark Lewis exercised options on 5,000 shares at $21.37 per share and sold 5,000 shares at $51.87 per share on Wednesday.

Lpath Inc.: SEC documents showed Director Charles Mathews purchased 5,000 shares at $4.98 per share on Wednesday.

Novatel Wireless Inc.: Company announced it has shipped more than three million 4G LTE enabled mobile computing devices since January 2011.

Optimer Pharmaceuticals Inc.: Company announced it will present at the 31st Annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference on Jan. 8.

Qualcomm Inc.: SEC documents showed Director Robert Kahn exercised options on 118,000 shares at $18.81 to $47.24 per share on Tuesday.

Viasat Inc.: Company announced it will provide airborne satcom services for a U.S. government customer under a contract award valued at $52 million.
