Employees of Cavignac & Associates have donated a combined $15,750 to 21 San Diego nonprofit organizations as part of the company's 13th annual Charity Fund employee gift-giving program, according to a release.

A San Diego-based risk management and insurance brokerage firm, Cavignac & Associates employs 40 people at its downtown San Diego offices. The Charity Fund, established in 2000, allows employees to direct specific amounts from their paychecks each pay period throughout the year to nonprofit and civic organizations they believe are doing the most good.

Some of the organizations that received donations include the Big Sisters and Big Brothers Clubs, Mamaís Kitchen, Monarch School, Polinsky Center, San Diego Center for Children, San Diego Junior Theater, Senior Wellness Center, Veterans Village, Voices for Children, Just in Time for Foster Youth, and Wounded Warrior Foundation.
