SDCCU names two senior VPs

San Diego County Credit Union has announced that Pat Zervic has been named senior vice president of real estate and Carolyn Hatten-Kissick has been named senior vice president of operations and card services.

Zervic will provide managerial support to real estate lending and related secondary market activities at SDCCU. In addition to overseeing portfolio risk management and servicing activities, she will be involved in the development and implementation of real estate strategies and transactions from conceptual scope of development to project execution, according to Teresa Halleck, president and CEO at San Diego County Credit Union.

“Pat’s track record of success at business development, client management and automated solutions will mean greater services for our customers,” Halleck said. “We are confident to continue offering a high-quality level of real estate lending activities and prudent portfolio management.”

Prior to joining SDCCU, Zervic served as vice president of mortgage operations with Pentagon Federal Credit Union’s office in Omaha, Neb. Her career has also included positions with PrimeLending of Dallas, Texas, Bank of America, Credit Suisse of Princeton, N.J. and Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. of Milwaukee, Wis. She earned a bachelor’s degree in operations management and analysis from Ashford University.

Hatten-Kissick will provide a strategic role in the overall financial management of SDCCU. She will oversee several departments and functions, including operations, member services, card services, IRA, loan review, BSA compliance and loss prevention, Halleck said.

Prior to joining SDCCU, Hatten-Kissick served as senior manager of operations at Alliant Credit Union in Chicago. She also served in various roles, including vice president of operations at El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union in El Paso, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
