StepStone Real Estate Services, a local commercial real estate asset management firm, has been awarded the property management contract for The Shops at La Jolla Village, located at Interstate 5 and Nobel Drive in La Jolla.
The 100 percent-leased center is the dominant community retail center in the La Jolla/University Town Center market. The center enjoys an excellent tenant mix, proximity to high-density offices, the University of California, San Diego campus, Interstate 5 access and a high-income shopper base.
The 165,597-square-foot center’s 40-plus stores, restaurants and services include Whole Foods Market, Landmark Theatres, CVS Pharmacy, Aaron Brothers, B.J.'s Pizza & Brewery, Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Verizon Wireless, as well as Paper Source and Sprinkles Cupcakes.
Jack Naliboff, SCSM, president; and Kathy Giraldo Carlson, CPM, director of real estate management for StepStone Real Estate, are working with brokers John Still and Brian Quinn from Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate, who are the exclusive leasing agents for the center.
