San Diego Gas & Electric is planning its Energy Showcase to help businesses learn about saving energy and money.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, and is planned to feature more than 75 local, national and international exhibitors, showcasing their energy-saving technologies and services. Open to the public at no cost, the Energy Showcase this year will bring back an electric vehicle ride-and-drive that last year allowed SDG&E customers to test drive the vehicles, giving them a sense of what it's like to get around in one of nearly 20 different models of available plug-in vehicles on the market.
SDG&E also plans to include other features of its past showcases, such as the utility's Energy Solutions Center, where customers can talk with energy advisers about how their business can save energy and money, or schedule an appointment for more in-depth help.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the pavilion of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, 1380 Harbor Island Drive. Registration can be completed at sdge.com/business/energy-showcase.
