Geneva Healthcare raises $1.8M to expand data management

National City's Geneva Healthcare, the developer of a technology platform for managing data for cardiac devices, has raised $1.83 million in its first round of financing to expand its reach to hospital systems and health care networks nationwide.

The fundraising was led by high net worth individuals including cardiologists, physicians and technology entrepreneurs.

This financing round comes shortly after a study presented in the "Academic Emergency Medicine Journal," which found the Geneva Healthcare Suite cut the average waiting time by 92 minutes at the UC San Diego Medical Center emergency department.

Since its inception in 2011, Geneva Healthcare has focused on implementing the Geneva Healthcare Suite in key hospitals throughout Southern California.
