Jack in the Box's new burger debuts in Super Bowl ad

Jack in the Box is introducing a new sandwich, the Bacon Insider burger, which features a beef patty with bacon pieces mixed in, sandwiched in-between six half slices of hickory smoked bacon, and topped with a bacon mayo sauce.

The burger also comes with lettuce, tomato and American cheese served on Jack in the Box’s new brioche bun.

The new Bacon Insider will be the star of the San Diego-based restaurant chain’s new commercial, created by Secret Weapon Marketing and debuting in regional ads starting Sunday during the Super Bowl.

“What better way to honor America’s favorite pigskin tradition than by giving America a bacon burger unlike any they’ve ever tasted before,” said Iwona Alter, vice president of menu strategy and innovation for Jack in the Box (Nasdaq: JAC). “We didn’t just put bacon on the burger. We put bacon in the burger, on top of the burger, underneath the burger and mixed it in the special bacon mayo sauce.”

The Bacon Insider is available for a limited time only at participating Jack in the Box restaurants.
