Arterra at Marriott Del Mar has added some new additions to its executive team. Michael Wlodkowski is the new general manager who previously served as director of operations for JW Marriott, San Francisco.
Jay Ibarolle is the newly appointed assistant general manager, and will manage operations for Arterra Restaurant, Bar and Outdoor Lounge. Ibarolle previously served as assistant general manager for Mission Valley Marriott Hotel.
Scott Winant, director of restaurants for Arterra, comes to San Diego from Hilton Anaheim, where he previously served as director of food and beverage operations.
San Diego's Luna Grill, a Mediterranean restaurant in Torrey Highlands, recently announced its Jan. 15 re-grand opening party, from noon to 3 p.m.
"We have made more than a few positive changes and advancements since we first opened the Torrey Highlands Luna Grill location," said Sean Pourteymour, CEO of Luna Grill. "We thought it would be great to highlight all of the changes and new additions to this location through an exciting event that brings the community together."
The Saturday event will feature buffet style samplings of the venue's most popular menu items and offer guests a chance to sign-up for the new Luna Grill Rewards program.
San Diego Restaurant Week runs Jan. 16 through Jan. 21. Diners may choose from more than 180 of San Diego's eateries for a three-course prix-fixe menu for just $20, $30 or $40 per person, depending on the restaurant.
