The University of San Diego School of Law is hosting its third annual patent law conference this week, titled "The Future of Patent Law Remedies." Presenters will address landmark changes in patent law remedies taking place at the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal Circuit and globally.
The opening evening of the event – co-hosted with the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association – will be a reception for Federal Circuit Judge Jimmie V. Reyna Thursday at the Marriott in Carmel Valley. It will include remarks by University of Virginia School of Law professor and Supreme Court advocate John F. Duffy.
Friday will feature a series of panels and presentations by Judge Reyna, patent pilot participants and judges Marilyn L. Huff and Janis Sammartino.
