Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced Friday that San Diego Superior Court has selected Tyler’s Odyssey court case management software system to modernize case management processes and improve electronic access to case information for the public.
Odyssey was selected after a competitive review designed to find a modern, automated system to efficiently and effectively deliver high-quality case management capabilities for multiple case types, including criminal, traffic, family, juvenile and probate.
The contract between Tyler and the San Diego Superior Court is valued at approximately $7 million and includes software licenses, professional services and maintenance.
The court chose core Odyssey applications, including case management, public access, enterprise document management and financial management.
San Diego Superior Court used the state’s Master Services Agreement (MSA) that gives California’s 58 superior courts the ability to purchase Tyler’s Odyssey integrated court case management system at pre-negotiated terms, conditions and pricing outlined in the MSA.
“The implementation of Odyssey will enable the court to facilitate the implementation of best practices and assist the court in enhancing services to better serve their constituents," said Bruce Graham, president of Tyler’s courts & justice division.
