Manterfield, partner at Krieg DeVault LLP, will speak about “Getting the Family Business Off the Dime: How to Get Them Started on Estate and Succession Planning,” and Greg McCann from Stetson University and McCann & Associates, will present on “OMG! A Military and Commercial Microgrids Summit comes to Del Mar on Wednesday, featuring a detailed analysis of the wants, needs and key business requirements of microgrid customers at military bases and facilities, remote communities, campuses, airports and hospitals. Hometown celebrity Bruce “Bink” Binkowski, 13-year announcer for the San Diego Padres, 23-season public address announcer for the Chargers and 20-year voice of San Diego State University Aztec football and basketball, will do what he does best and speak at the San Diego Employers Association’s Strategic Leadership Series. Binkowski, the executive director of the San Diego Bowl Game Association, will discuss how he survived working for five sports franchises in six years, and his motivation to succeed, at the Wednesday event at Qualcomm Stadium. The Maritime Alliance's annual Maritime Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony and the fourth annual Blue Tech and Blue Economy Summit are being held in conjunction at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier on Wednesday. The summit runs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and will address opportunities and innovations surrounding sustainable development of ocean resources.
