Kilpatrick Townsend adds IP attorney Christiansen

The law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has added Richard Christiansen to its San Diego office.

He joins the firm as an associate on the electronics and software team in its intellectual property department.

Christiansen earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University and his law degree from New York University School of Law.

Christiansen, who has experience working as a design engineer with Raytheon Missile Systems and at Siemens VDO, will focus his practice on patent preparation, patent prosecution and patent-related transactions in the areas of electro-mechanical, mechanical, medical device and software technologies.
