Lisa Berry has been a legal secretary in San Diego for more than 20 years. She has been employed by Higgs, Fletcher & Mack LLP since 1999 and previously worked 11 years with the law firm of McInnis, Fitzgerald, Rees & Sharkey. In 1989, she assisted Steven J. Cologne when he was an Associate/Partner at McInnis, Fitzgerald. She also participates in substantial client relations, vendor hires and other aspects of litigation support. Her duties include opening of new client files, scheduling of meetings, formatting of pleadings and discovery, service and filing of court documents, calendaring and preparation of documents for trial.
Berry has been a member of the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association since 1993. In 1997, through self-study, she earned the designation as a California Certified Legal Secretary. She currently is the firm’s only legal secretary with this designation.
She is a member of the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association and Mary Alexander Litigation Roundtable. A native San Diegan, Berry resides in Bonita with her husband of 14 years, Kevin, and their 10-year-old son Ryan.
