Major Cases
From catastrophic injury and medical malpractice actions to large-scale construction and inverse condemnation cases, my practice runs the gamut of plaintiff’s work. I find the variety of cases not only challenging but exciting, and an opportunity to grow as both lawyer and a person. Large or small, one thread that runs through all of my cases is the opportunity to help those who often times cannot help themselves.
Professional Background
Before entering law school I had the privilege of working as both a legislative aide and later a lobbyist in the Florida Legislature. Whether lobbying legislators or consulting with corporate and municipal clients, honing my negotiation and advocacy skills in the Capital rotunda has served me well in my role as a plaintiff’s attorney.
Since completing law school, I’ve been working with Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire and have been able to focus solely on a plaintiff’s practice. Through the great mentorship and trial experience I’ve received at TBM, I feel that as a young lawyer I’ve an incredible opportunity to hone the craft.
Professional Affiliations
As both board member for Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, as well as committee member on countless committees, I’ve tried to use my voice in CASD to support the entire plaintiff’s bar. Whether it is through recruitment of new members, organizing events or volunteering our time for community causes, I’ve found my work with CASD to be extremely rewarding both personally and professionally.
Additionally, I’ve remained active on the statewide level through Consumer Attorneys of California, as well as nationally through American Association of Justice. Locally, I keep strong ties with the Inns of Court as well as numerous legal fraternities and associations.
