Major Cases
My cases have included complex divorce litigation involving multimillion-dollar estates, representation of indigents for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, professional athletes and everything in between. Each of these cases has been “major” for the clients involved, and I have treated them as such. I derive great personal satisfaction from the visible sense of relief on a client's face when, after a consultation, they realize that their problems have a resolution in sight.
Professional Background
Since 1994 I have been the principal in a small San Diego law firm focusing primarily on family law. We are currently comprised of two attorneys and five support personnel. Because I embarked on the study of law several years out of college, I have an eclectic background, including four years living and teaching in Japan, several years involved in the financing and marketing of real estate in San Diego and 18 years of practicing law here. My broad experience helps me to connect with the diverse spectrum of cultures and personalities which are encountered in the San Diego market.
