I have supported litigation to defend Gateway Computers v. Lans, as well as supported the defense of Hewlett Packard v. Pitney Bowes. Most of my work has been in support of patent prosecution for large, global clients such as SAP AG.
I specialize in counseling clients related to all aspects of intellectual property, especially patent prosecution for corporate formation and other growth stages. I work in other aspects related to the commercialization and exercise of intellectual property.
I am a member of SDIPLA, and regularly attend MIT Forum meetings, Kiretsu Forum activities and Tech Coast Angels events.
I have co-founded several companies: a sports equipment company that specializes in aquatic fitness and therapy; a bicycle seat design company that specializes in lightweight, configurable air-filled seats; and a renewable energy company that designs and builds revolutionary wind turbines for residential and local power generation.
I am married and a father of three young children.
