In June 2011, Harrison tried a case obtaining a defense verdict, related to a service station accident in which the plaintiff alleged injuries requiring future care with a present value cost of $4 million to $10 million dollars.
Robert W. Harrison is the managing partner of Wilson Elser's San Diego office. He has extensive experience in civil litigation with emphasis in the defense of professional liability (health care, lawyers, accountants and brokers), business litigation, employment law and products liability matters. Harrison also has experience defending premises liability cases and actions related to security guard conduct including matters related to service stations, supermarkets, taverns, hotels and arena facilities. He has tried more than 100 cases to jury verdict and also has considerable experience in administrative hearings before the professional licensing boards of the State of California.

Harrison retired as a captain in the U.S. Naval Reserve and during his naval career he enjoyed the opportunity to serve in command of two Naval Reserve Force ships, USS Pluck (MSO-464) and USS Hepburn (FF-1055).
