Among others, I have participated in the master development agreement with the city for Liberty Station, the Harbor Club, Park Terrace, Costa Verde, the sale of Cush Automotive, the Corrections Corporation facility in Otay Mesa, Bridgeworks and The Lodge at Torrey Pines.
I have acted as counsel for a number of large real property development projects, including multiple hotels, residential communities, apartments, mobile home parks, shopping centers, office buildings, assisted living facilities, private correctional facilities and ski resorts. In this capacity, I have represented lenders, borrowers, trustees, developers, brokers and title companies, and in so doing have been involved in a number of financing, sale, lease and entity structuring and workout transactions as well as defect claims and owner disputes.
I am currently on the board of visitors at the University of San Diego Law School. I am past chairman of both the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce and the San Diego Convention Center Corporation.
