After a high-level executive was separated for sexually inappropriate conduct, Dollarhide defended C-Suite executives and two corporations in the wrongful discharge case that followed. She later successfully moved to enforce a settlement agreement in the District of Connecticut, calling as her chief witness the Federal Magistrate who brokered the deal. One top executive wrote of the result, “As I have been saying for more than 10 years, Mary Dollarhide is the best employment lawyer in the U.S.!”
Confidential Matter (California State-Wide Wage and Hour Class Action) Complete walk-away on class action allegations following filing of demurrer. Dollarhide’s team argued that 500-plus information technology workers could not form an ascertainable class given their disparate work assignments.
Professional Background
Dollarhide has been named one of the top 25 women lawyers in San Diego. She has tried and won employment cases in California, New York, Missouri and Connecticut, and handled appeals in both state and federal courts. She is a graduate of USC’s Gould School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Southern California Law Review. Dollarhide is co-author of the legal treatise Reductions in Force in Employment Law, Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) Books (2d. ed. 2011) and a contributor to Employment Discrimination Law, BNA Books (4th ed. 2007).

Dollarhide is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, San Diego chapter, and previously served as the Executive Secretary and Program Chair of the Hon.
