My practice is exclusively immigration. I represent business and individuals concerning immigrant/nonimmigrant visas, adjustment of status, religious workers, fiance(e)s, marriage, consular processing, citizenship/naturalization, employer sanctions and other matters. I frequently speak to attorneys, professional associations and civic organizations on immigration issues facing religious workers, employers and family members. I have published articles on immigration issues involving religious workers and their employers and on immigration practice in the San Diego District Office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. I also am an adjunct professor with the University of San Diego School of Law, where I teach and supervise the Immigration Clinic.

I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association ; and am active on the national organization and local chapter levels. I am on the AILA national finance and transparency committees and the San Diego AILA chapter advocacy committee. I served on the AILA national religious worker committee and California Service Center committee. I served two terms as San Diego AILA Chapter chair. I am also a member of the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and the Thomas More Society.
Personal Affiliations
I am a long-time member of the Del Mar Solana Beach Rotary Club and participate in various community service projects. I play bass clarinet with the San Diego Concert Band, Kearny Mesa Concert Band, and San Diego Clarinet Society. I have participated as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts and currently am a merit badge counselor for law-related merit badges. I also serve on the finance council for my church.
Personal Background
I was born and raised in upstate New York and moved to San Diego for law school. I am fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian. I enjoy playing music and performing at local community events and concerts.
