Major Cases
I help multinational corporations, small business owners, and families obtain visas and green cards and become naturalized citizens. Recent approvals include H1-B visas for professionals, an EB-1 extraordinary ability green card for a CEO, and an H-3 trainee visa for the marketing manager of a multinational manufacturer. I have also worked with asylum seekers such as Mexican transgender individuals abused by the police, Iranian Christian students who could face the death penalty in Iran because of their religion, and a Somali-Ethiopian woman who was imprisoned and tortured because of her ethnicity.
Professional Background
Prior to becoming an attorney, I was an assistant paralegal at Fragomen, the world’s largest immigration firm, where I handled a high volume of cases for the firm’s corporate clients. I also held various clerkships, including the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Casa Cornelia Law Center, Housing Opportunities Collaborative and USD Entrepreneurship Clinic.
I manage my private law practice and service clients around the world. I speak about immigration at universities including University of California San Diego, University of San Diego and San Diego State University. I also meet with elected officials regarding civil rights issues, including immigration.
