After college I became a realtor and spent a few years handling residential transactions. I went to law school thinking I may focus on real estate law. During school, I clerked here at O’Mara & Padilla assisting with civil injury cases. I got hooked on protecting the rights of the injured. For the past nine years, I have represented plaintiffs in civil litigation, primarily injury cases with some unfair business practices cases, as well. While the cases listed brought in large dollar amounts, I consider every case to be “major.” Whether a case resolves for $15,000 or $1.5 million that result represents justice. No matter the figure, I am always proud to help my clients find justice.
I am a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, North County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the National Trial Lawyers Association.
I was co-chair of the North County Bar’s Personal Injury section in 2011 and am currently on Consumer Attorney of San Diego’s Government Relations Committee. Since 2012 I have been one of National Trial Lawyer’s Top 40 under 40 in California.
