Patricia P. Hollenbeck represents clients in complex business litigation before state and federal courts in California and across the country. She also has extensive arbitration experience, before the AAA and other forums, and has handled to award in excess of 50 cases. Hollenbeck's practice includes class action defense, particularly as to unfair competition and consumer legal remedies, and obtaining injunctive relief for her clients. As a complement to her litigation practice, Hollenbeck also counsels businesses on litigation assessment, particularly at the time of business formation, and in connection with asset purchase transactions. Hollenbeck's clients are in many industries including franchising, private post-secondary schools, real estate, product manufacturing, and technology. She is a creative, tenacious, and successful advocate who combines her legal expertise with a detailed understanding of her clients' business objectives and strategies.
Hollenbeck is the president of Lawyers Club of San Diego. She has been a member of the board of directors for the past three years, and from 2013 to 2014 she served as the vice president of finance and fundraising. She is the immediate past chair of the Judicial Endorsements Committee. Hollenbeck is a past chair of the Civil Litigation Section for the San Diego County Bar Association, and also served a three-year term on the Board of Governors for the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, San Diego. Hollenbeck has served on the State Bar of California Franchise Law Committee for two separate three-year terms, and also served as vice chair, membership. She has also served on the board of governors for the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, San Diego.
Hollenbeck is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named as a Super Lawyer (Business Litigation) since 2011. In 2014, she was also named to the Super Lawyers list of Top 25 Women in San Diego, Top Lawyers in San Diego (Trials) and San Diego’s Best of the Bar. In 2013, Hollenbeck received the Cheryl Blackwell Bryson Leadership Award, presented by the Duane Morris Women's Initiative. The award recognizes significant contributions to women in the profession, including issues of the professional development of women lawyers and the advancement of women lawyers in the profession.
