As a deputy attorney in the criminal division of the Office of the Attorney General, I represent the People of the State of California as a prosecutor. Our section handles felony cases in which a convicted defendant appeals, including capital litigation and federal habeas corpus proceedings. As a member of the trial team, I also handle criminal cases at the trial level where the defendant seeks recusal of a District Attorney’s Office, or where a conflict with a District Attorney’s Office exists.
Member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of New York. I am also member to many local bar organizations. I am a past president of the Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and currently serve as chair of the Ethnic Relations and Diversity Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association.
