N. Ben Cramer is an associate at Mulligan & Banham, where he specializes in medical malpractice, elder abuse and personal injury cases. In only his second year as an attorney, Cramer has participated in a wide range of legal activities including taking and defending depositions, multiple mediations and second-chair in a successful jury trial.
As the son of a Marine Corps officer, Cramer was born in Fort Belvoir, Va., and grew up on both coasts, before eventually going to high school in Carlsbad. Cramer graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2005 with a B.A. in history with an emphasis in religious studies and the Civil War. While at UCLA, Cramer was a member of the UCLA Men’s Rowing Team and his lightweight four boat finished 2nd in the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.
After UCLA, Cramer received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2008. He competed in numerous national Moot Court Competitions and was awarded Top-Ten Oral Advocate at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Boston, Mass.
He is an active member of Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Lawyers Club of San Diego, San Diego County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Cramer is an ongoing mentor to a young boy whose father is incarcerated, through the Y-FRIENDz program of the YMCA. He is also actively involved as a volunteer with the Emilio Nares Foundation, helping children who are battling cancer.
In his spare time, Cramer enjoys competing in triathlons, half marathons and golf tournaments.
