Anna Romanskaya is an associate with Stark & D’Ambrosio, LLP, where she represents clients in all aspects of family law, including dissolution, child custody, child and spousal support, property division and post judgment issues.
She counsels and represents clients in civil matters, drafts law and motions and appears in court. Romanskaya has extensive experience in crisis intervention and victim advocacy. She previously worked at the Family Justice Center and in the El Cajon Courthouse Domestic Violence Clinic.
She has also worked with Neighborhood Legal Services in Los Angeles and the Family Service Agency in Santa Barbara, where she counseled clients and advocated on domestic issues.
Selected as one of the “Top Young Attorneys of 2008” by The Daily Transcript, Romanskaya is an activist and avid public speaker on victim advocacy, domestic violence and youth issues.
Her passion is public service and her professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Lawyers Club, and serving as a mentor and alumni adviser to several student organizations at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
She is the current president of the San Diego County Bar Association’s New Lawyer Division, and 2010 recipient of the San Diego County Bar Association’s distinguished Service Award for her contribution to continuing legal education for the legal community.
Romanskaya is also extensively involved in both the Young Lawyers Division (YLD), and the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association. She was a TIPS NOW! fellow of the TIPS Section in 2010-2011 for the 2011-2012 ABA year. She is also a part of the senior leadership team of the YLD, serving as its committee, and liaison director of public and special interest entities.
Romanskaya is a graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she double-majored in political science, and law and society, and received her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She is admitted to the state bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.
