Amanda Aguirre Allen is a fourth-year associate at Hecht Solberg Robinson Goldberg & Bagley LLP, where she has practiced since 2008. Her practice focuses on real estate and business litigation, transactions and land use. Allen represents a broad range of clients including investors, developers, lenders, nonprofit corporations and government entities. In addition to trial work, she works to mediate and achieve favorable settlements for her clients whenever possible. Allen’s ability to work closely with clients to achieve their litigation, transactional and land use goals is a direct reflection of the exceptional attorneys she works with at Hecht Solberg.
Allen’s passion for the law is equally matched by her civic engagement and commitment to the San Diego community. She is a member of the yGen Board of the Building Industry Association of San Diego, which is dedicated to fostering the growth and cohesiveness of young professionals in the San Diego building industry. She is also a member of the San Diego Lawyers Club and serves on the Professional Advancement Committee. In addition, Allen is an associate member of the Welsh Inn of Court, a legal mentoring organization of attorneys and judges dedicated to promoting civility, professionalism and ethics in the legal community.
She is especially proud of her completion of the New Leaders Council Institute in June 2011, a five-month program focused on personal leadership development.
Allen volunteers her time to San Diego Foundation for Change, a local nonprofit organization committed to creating a passionate community of support for progressive leaders and organizations in the San Diego/Tijuana region. She also serves on the Resource Development Committee, which works to provide grants to community partners working in the field to ensure democracy, health and equality in the underserved border communities of San Diego and Tijuana.
Prior to joining Hecht Solberg, Allen obtained her undergraduate and J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2004 and 2008. She played on the National Championship softball team at UCLA and is devoted to being a life-long Bruin.
This is the culmination of a peer nominating process that asked San Diego County lawyers to name the best young attorneys in San Diego County who are: Hard-Working & Detail-Oriented, Knowledgeable & Enthusiastic, Ethical & Professional, and Committed to Furthering the Interests of Justice in Society.
