Quinn A. Disparte is an associate attorney at RJS Law. Disparte’s practice centers on representing individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department, and State Board of Equalization. Disparte has extensive experience in the fields of tax controversy and litigation, and also represents taxpayers in criminal proceedings before state and federal courts. He has presented seminars to professional tax societies and organizations about audit red flags, tax collection issues and tax procedure.
Prior to joining RJS Law, Disparte was an associate attorney with a law firm in San Diego where he practiced in the fields of taxation, business law and civil litigation. He was an integral part of the firm’s taxation practice. Disparte gained extensive experience in retirement plans, entity formation, and tax analysis associated with corporations and high-net worth individuals. Disparte also served as a law clerk at the California Superior Court in the County of Los Angeles.
Disparte received his LL.M. in taxation with distinction and received Dean’s List honors from the Georgetown University Law Center. He also earned his Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, where he received Dean’s List honors.
During law school, Disparte served as a senior editor and board member for the International Law and Management Review, and he was a member of his law school’s award-winning Vis International Arbitration Moot Court team. Disparte completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University in Laie, Hawaii, where he worked as a Japanese-speaking tour guide at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
