Stacey R. O’Neill has devoted her legal career to representing injury and wrongful death victims. O’Neill is a personal injury attorney at the Jurewitz Law Group working out of its Downtown San Diego office. Since her admission to the State Bar of California, she has worked at the Jurewitz Law Group where she manages part of the firm’s personal injury caseload and supervises staff to ensure that each client's case is handled with the utmost care. She has secured optimal settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of her clients.
O’Neill completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated cum laude in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in history. In 2010, she earned her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. She received distinguished honors for her legal writing and was also placed on the dean’s list for her academic excellence. While in law school, O’Neill served as the executive director of notes and comments for the California Western School of Law International Law Journal. Her comment “Consuming for the Environment: A Proposal for Carbon Labels in the United States” was also published in the California Western School of Law International Law Journal.
An active participant of the San Diego legal community, O’Neill is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, an organization dedicated to advocating for plaintiffs' rights, and works to improve the skills and ethics of the bar with her monthly involvement in the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court. She is also a graduate of the San Diego Inns of Court Trial Evidence Program.
In addition to her involvement in the legal community, O’Neill participates in local events to help raise funding for nonprofit organizations in San Diego that provide services and/or financial relief to individuals dealing with an injury, disability, or life-threatening illness. A few of these organizations include: Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts and the ALS Association.
In her free time, O’Neill enjoys cooking, traveling, exercising and supporting the San Diego Chargers during football season. She is honored for this recognition and is thankful for the support for her family, friends, mentors and peers within the San Diego legal community.
