1998 Sales Brisk At McMillin's Orangecrest Hills In Riverside

McMillin Cos. of National City reports sales were brisk as 1998 drew to a close at its Orangecrest Hills development in Riverside.


Continental Homes' 189-unit Moonlight Ridge development had sales of 19 homes in a single day from its latest phase. Moonlight Ridge offers four two-story floor plans from 2,410 square feet to 3,270 square feet with three to six bedrooms. The prices range from the $170,000s. Sales have averaged 10 homes a month since the opening in September 1998.


The 132-home Crossroads development by Richmond American has had 45 sales in 1998. The neighborhood offers three one- and two-story floor plans from 1,776 to 2,050 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices range from the mid-$150,000s.

The 101-home Orange Crest Landing by Shea Homes had 54 sales in 1998. It offers three two-story floor plans from 2,038 square feet to 2,050 square feet with four and five bedrooms. Prices range from the high $150,000s.


Catellus Residential Group plans to kick off sales Saturday at its 96-home Cantamar development in coastal Carlsbad. The one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,342 square feet to more than 3,405 square feet and have up to six bedrooms. Prices start from the mid-$300,000s.


Paydar Properties reports a grand opening is scheduled Saturday with 12 homes at its Alpine Oaks development in Alpine. The three- and four-bedroom floor plans range from 2,175 to 2,540 square feet and are priced from $273,500.


Pacific Communities Builder reports a grand opening will be held Saturday at its Mission Point development in Oceanside. The plans with as many as four bedrooms will range from 1,396 square feet to 1,718 square feet. Prices range from the $130,000s.


McMillin Homes will release the seven-home third phase of The Heights in Santee on Saturday. The release is priced from the high $200,000s. The Heights offers three one- and two-story floor plans from 2,136 square feet to 2,765 square feet with three to five bedrooms.


Ryland Homes has set a grand opening Saturday at its Rancho Santa Fe development in Ramona. The neighborhood offers floor plans from 2,0111 square feet to 2,455 square feet with three and four bedrooms. Prices range from $209,990 to $241,090. The homebuilder reports 13 sales have already been logged during a preview sales period.


Tech-Bilt Cos. reports five homes remain for sale at its Crystal Bay La Jolla development on the southern slope of Mt. Soledad. The available one- and two-level floor plans range from 2,551 square feet to 4,055 square feet with three and four bedrooms. Prices range from $1.1 million to $1.85 million.


Barratt American reports 15 units have been sold in the five weeks since the grand opening at its Venezia Del Mar development in the Del Mar Heights area. Three floor plans range from 3,041 square feet to 3,740 square feet with three to five bedrooms. Prices range from $560,000 to $707,000.


Presley Homes reports three of six homes released as the second phase have been sold at The Cove at Torrey Hills. Prices for the second phase range from $359,900 to $396,900. The Cove's three- to five-bedroom floor plans range from 2,164 square feet to 2,450 square feet.
