Larry Clemens, president of Barratt American's Urban Division, presented La Mesa Mayor Art Madrid with a Gold Award won by Barratt's Aragon townhome neighborhood in downtown La Mesa. The city of La Mesa and its staff worked closely with Barratt in the design of the award-winning neighborhood, according to Clemens.
The gold statue awarded to Aragon's plan one for Best Attached Home priced under $500,000 by the Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders will now be displayed at La Mesa City Hall.
Located at the corner of El Cajon Boulevard and Maple Street, the Mediterranean-styled, 58-unit neighborhood is a vital part in the revitalization of downtown La Mesa.
