Thomas Jefferson's Berenson, Greene promoted to full professors

Thomas Jefferson School of Law's Steve Berenson and Kevin "K.J." Greene have been promoted to the rank of full professor, dean and president Rudy Hasl announced last week. The appointments were approved by the law school's board of trustees after recommendations of the tenure and promotion committee.

Professor Berenson, who earned Master of Laws and Juris Doctor degrees from Harvard Law School, is the director of Thomas Jefferson's Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic. He has been with the law school since 2002 and teaches elder law, family law, legal writing, professional responsibility and remedies.

Professor Greene, who earned his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, is one of the most highly regarded entertainment law and intellectual property attorneys in San Diego. He has been at Thomas Jefferson since 1997 and teaches contracts, entertainment law, intellectual property and music law.
