Aldrica Lattimore

Aldrica has a B.A. in Education, B.A. in Social Work, and M.B.A. in Public Policy & Administration starting her career as a Teacher in the most challenging New York school districts by choice -- "I always felt that children in dire communities needed the best teachers, and I was one of the best!" Aldrica went on to administrate both public and private educational and human service agencies for over a decade.

Over the past 18 years through Aldrica's leadership Accurate Engineering Integrated Construction Services Inc. has gained over a decade long track record of consistent outstanding performance evaluations, meeting or exceeding the demanding requirements of commercial, federal, military and utility customers.

Aldrica has been lauded for her community commitment as well as her business acumen. In addition to the numerous prestigious awards and accolades Accurate Engineering has won which include 2012 U.S. Small Business Administration Minority Business Champion of the Year, 2011 Best in Business Award, 2011 Stevie Award Best Overall Company of the Year Finalist, 2010 Top Small Business Places to Work Award, 2009 Best in Business Award, 2008 SBA Business Person of the Year Award, 2007 SBA Woman Owned Business of the Year, 2005 Construction Company of the Year Award, 2004 SBA Business of the Year Award, 2003 Supplier of the Year award by Sempra Energy and 2003 Living History Maker Entrepreneur Award by Wells Fargo - Aldrica has been awarded Executive Business Management scholarships sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration to the University of Alaska and the National Minority Supplier Business Development Council to Northwestern University, Chicago. Accurate Engineering and Aldrica have been featured in numerous publications including the covers of the National Business Advisor Magazine and the San Diego Business Journal.

Keeping her educational roots' never far way, Accurate Engineering has maintained a Partnership in Education relationship with the San Diego Unified School District since 1998; Accurate Engineering's has provided academic internship programs for colleges and universities for over a decade; Accurate Engineering is a State of California approved Apprenticeship Training Site; and Aldrica has mentored and advocated for small businesses for as long as she has been in business.

Aldrica has sat on numerous industry, educational, and political boards and advisory committees over the years including Chair of 51st Congressional Small Business Advisory Committee, former Senator Morrow Small Business Committee, former Congressman Duncan Hunter Sr Small Business Committee, National Defense Industrial Association Small Business Committee, and professional affiliation with former Congressman Rick Lazio and is dedicated to the empowerment and uplifting of small, minority and woman owned small businesses.

As a woman small business owner, Aldrica is also a long time supporter of the National Association of Women in Construction, National Association of Woman Business Owners, and the Leadership Committee of the U.S. National Women's Chamber of Commerce.

Aldrica founded the National Association of Minority Contractors San Diego & Imperial County Chapter whose goals include promoting the economic interests of minority contracting firms and small businesses; reducing and removing barriers to full equality; and facilitating wider procurement and increased business opportunities for members, minority contractors and small businesses throughout San Diego & Imperial County.
