The San Diego Oceans Foundation will present its inaugural Sustainable Seafood Week April 18-25 to support its research and marine science education programs, according to a release.
All diners need to do is choose the sustainable seafood special at any participating restaurant, which will donate a portion of profit from the dish to support the foundation. Sustainable Seafood Week aims to inform the public about the importance of supporting businesses that have developed more sustainable solutions to environmental concerns.
Participating restaurants include Rubio's, BO-Beau Kitchen + Bar, Azuki Sushi, Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, The Red Door Restaurant and Wine Bar, and Quality Social, among others. For a full list of participating restaurants, go to sustainableseafoodweek.org.
